because i didn't have my pass...it was in my other jacket. and normally they say "ok, this time it's alright" (i've done it twice before) and this time he told me that i'd better find some cash. he told me to ask people on the bus for change for my $20...then he dropped me across the street from a gas station and told me to go get money. i was humiliated and just cried.
then waited 20 min in the freezing cold for the next bus...which was the longer route...which made me late for work. (i had to go in an hour early to get caught up on work...but i wasted 40 min of my extra hour getting money and waiting in the cold)
the WORST start to my friday. but the day got better and better! Friday ended well. anyway...there you have it.
