apparently holding the curling iron/straightener on your face for like...3 seconds will burn your skin. and that burn turns into a scab. and the scab is big and red and ugly...and it peels so everyone can see that you burned the heck out of your face. sometimes i wonder where my mind goes while i'm doing important things, like working with hot hair tools...
