I just wanted to share a few photos with you all from a photoshoot that Kate and I worked on yesterday with an outstanding photographer, Steven Anthrony of Uptown Photography. so, tonight, i was getting ready for bed....
i needed to wash my face. I turned on the hot water and let it run until steam rose from the faucet. i grabbed my face wash from the shower and shut off the hot water. it is normal that i brush my teeth before washing my face.

i flipped on the cold water and grabbed my toothbrush from the medicine cabinet wetting it in the stream of H2O. After shutting the water off, i put my toothpaste on the brush and brought it towards my mouth. as the cleaning device approached its final destination, something struck me as strange. I pulled the toothbrush back and to my bewilderment, the toothpaste was white and not the usual blue color.

i sniffed it and quickly realized i had applied face wash to my tooth cleansing apparatus. I cranked the cold water back on and rinsed the soapy intruder from the bristles. I applied the TRUE toothpaste and commenced into my regular brushing routine.

I could still taste the abominable bite of that foul face wash while the minty bubbles filled my mouth. However, i know my fate could have been much worse...

this is my birthday dress (It has polka dots on it that you can't see in the pic!)...my hair looks way better in person, the pic doesn't do it justice. anyway...happy birthday to me!

well, the first thing that made me laugh on my birthday is....our pot luck sign up list. Thank you Chris Stickney...for making this the best list we've had!

Well...countdown begins, i suppose. 3 days til i am 25. weird to think about. really weird. Anyway....worked from home this afternoon. well i went to the gym and then came home and now i am working. lame. i know...there is just so much to do. spreadsheets and spreadsheets. i promise that i don't like microsoft excel spreadsheets. i look at too many of them in a day...some people don't like to see the same patients....and me, i don't like to see the same old spreadsheets.

so stupid. i cried.

Well, here i am. Sitting at work again. I worked until 7:30pm last night and got in the office today at 7. things are so busy, i really shouldn't be blogging, but i think you all are in need of an update.

As many of you know, I went to visit my cousin Brianna at her home. Chris was gracious to let me invade for an evening. We slept and lazed around and went to visit Gran at her house after she got home from surgery. Other than that, i've been doing a lot of stuff.....I did a photo shoot with Kate. She is booking me as the model for some photo shoots that she hears about and it's a lot of fun. i have a lot to learn about things to do with my face and body for a photo, but practice'll make perfect! I have another shoot coming up this weekend...so that'll be good i think.

Anyway, i guess i work and i do photo shoots, i get to visit my wonderful relatives out in Lake Elmo where i go for walks, learn about the bible, eat great food, share laughs, and do 9th grade math homework! it's a BLAST! (and i do mean that, i really enjoy my time there!) I also sleep sometimes, i'm going to start going back to the gym. I feel like a beast and want to feel good going into winter...start up a good habit. Now i can go more regularly because i can just hit the downtown gym and catch a later bus home. Looking forward to that. Anyway...here's me. in case you forgot me. My hair is red in hidden streaks. do you see??
