This weekend was great!
Friday night i went out on a date with my wonderful boyfriend, Jase. We went to the Loring Pasta Bar for some AWESOME food. Then we went bowling at a local alley, which wasn't anything classy, but sometimes that's the best fun! After that we went for a couple drinks at a nice little Irish Pub in NE Minneapolis. It was a fine date...I told Jase that I was going to take HIM out since he took me out the last couple times. So it was fun to plan and pay for the date. felt nice to spoil him for once. We had fun!
On Saturday, I hung out with Jase until mid afternoon and then I met up with my Papa who was in town talking business with Pook. When the boys were done talking websites, they came over and got me, then we all crammed into Dad's truck and drove 8 miles (an eternity!) to Sam's Club. I walked out with about $45 worth of soup...and some other things. We went back to my house and unloaded the goods, then went over to Jamey's. Pook made us Pizza (Kate was gone to Michigan with her mom and sister to visit Jody...her other sister) and we sat around watching "The Office." Dad Left then Pook and i went Bowling. It was really fun to spend time with my brother! I hardly get to anymore...both he and Kate are so busy all the time. So it was nice to just go out and do something fun with him for a change!
Sunday, i slept in, redid my toenails and fingernails, then met a friend for coffee at 2. we had a really good chat. I haven't talked with Sara in such a long time and she is such a great friend. I am glad we got to catch up. Sounds like she's doing well. That makes me happy!! After that, i went home and made up some Beef Stew in the crock pot. I turned it on and then got ready for my double date with Jase. We went out with April and JJ Kirby. (Jase and I met at their wedding) Guess what they wanted to do....go bowling. So we met at the alley and went bowling (for my third night in a row!) Another couple met us there later and we all three bowled together. it was a lot of fun! So....i had a pretty eventful weekend and really had a good time. Got to see family and friends and was able to relax a little.
Anyway, that's about it from me for now. I haven't much to look forward to this week, but i'm sure i could think of SOMETHING....Next weekend will be lowkey i think. Jase will be out of town on a "business trip." He is going to a convention type thing with his new boss and will be learning a thing or two down in Orlando, FL before coming back to icy MN and starting his job on the 26th. I think he's pretty excited to get started. I'm excited for him. (For those of you who don't know, he is a Chiropractor and just landed a job about 2 weeks ago in Blaine, MN. He'll be working alongside another very successful Chiropractor to learn the ways of the business. He's looking forward to having some steady work and a lot of experience. I'm hoping this works out well for him! It's an exciting time!) So, that's about it from me. Hope you all enjoy your week of Mid-Januaryness....stay warm!
I leave you with this amazing John Mayer song.
