i wanted to make a clarification to those of you who might be confused about the last photo i have...where i liked it while it lasted....I was referencing the sun on my face. So don't you worry, it was only the sun. there is no crisis. there is nothing that is horribly wrong...you didn't miss something important! Just...the sun. in all it's simplicity.

there are far too few sunny days in the winter, and the days that it is sunny...the window i look out has been closed..blinds drawn and twisted shut. But, the past few days, the owner of that window seat has been kind enough to turn the blinds up for me so that the sun will shine in on my face. I'm not certain it's completely for my benefit, but nonetheless...the sun is shining in. and the sun on my face makes me happy.

In short. that's what that was all about. so don't worry...it wasn't meant as a scary cryptic message.

a special thanks to Kate and Jamey for occupying me this weekend. I had a great time and i have lots of pictures to prove it. Here are a few for the final product! (take note that my hair is longer. hee hee)
