Had a very big weekend! I had state dance competitions Friday and Saturday with Diana!! Friday night diana and i stayed in a hotel, which i think i blogged already! We were joined on Saturday by Kinzie, Meagan, Alex C, and Shanna! We had a blast! Saturday night i stayed at Kinzie's house! We went out dancing and had a BLAST! it was so much fun! Stayed at Kinzie's that night and then on sunday i went over to my Aunt Michelle and Uncle Randy's house for Alex and Grant's birthday party! Grant is 5 and Alex will be 13 on March 3rd! WOW...such wonderful grown up kids! They are both beautiful and well behaved. It was just so wonderful to see them. Randy and Michelle were so wonderful to me also. It was hard for me to leave them on Tuesday morning when i took off for the job fair. My eyes got all teary and i couldn't even look at Michelle for fear of losing it. I'm just so blessed to have such a caring loving family.
Anyway, Tuesday i went to the job fair at the minneapolis conventions center and spoke with a bunch of people there and handed out some resumes and the like...then i went to jamey's studio to see him and pick up his house keys! When i walked into the studio him and his employees were all sitting at their computers working away and listening to music. I got Jamey's keys and then went to his house. I ran some errands, meaning i went and got coffee, and then i came back to his house and went for a walk. it was SOOOOO gorgeous outside. like in the 40's. Kate came over and Jamey made us dinner, then we all went to his soccer game! It was so fun to see Jamey play again! The second half of the game he played goalie..he's not as nimble as he used to be, but we sure did have fun!
Then today i went back to the convention center and had a few interviews. they weren't for positions that i'm super thrilled about, but you have to start somewhere, so we'll see what that's about. Then i came home and went for a walk! It is sooooooo amazing. Again, in the 40's...maybe close to the 50's. SPRING IS HERE! (for now) so...there's that.
I suppose i'll show you a few pics of my weekend. I need to pst this so i can go to the store and get myself some steak and veggies to grill. so here are some photos! ENJOY!
