So i just had a scary scary experience. I'm home alone remember...
i'm laying in my bed, chatting with a few friends before i decide to turn in for the night. I'm just having a jolly time being home alone...when all of a sudden something catches my eye. flying around the ceiling of my bedroom is a BAT! yes, yes a bat. I immediately scream at the top of my lungs...and continue to do so for a minute... full minute, maybe even two minutes. But before i know it, the bat begins SWOOPING AT MY HEAD. i scream louder and harder...finally the bat goes into my big walk-in closet and i make a mad dash for the door. I close the door knowing that my cell phone is in my purse on the floor of my room and i have no idea who to call or what to do. i run downstairs and quickly decide to call the neighbor...my second dad, Wayne Smith. (Diana's dad) I knew he would be sleeping because he is a teacher and he has school in the morning, but i didn't know what else to do without my daddy here. so i called and woke up Wayne, who graciously came over with a tennis raquet and battled the Bat. WELL...he was in my room for a minute before i hear him call my name. I go upstairs and he explains through the closed door that he can't find the bat. "Is it dead?" i asked him..."yeah, but i can't find where i hit it to." (wayne isn't wearing his glasses...so he's blind as a...well, bat!) So i slowly enter the room and immediately see it. Cringing i tell him.."it's there...in my bed." Laying in my bed is the dead bat carcass...OH BARF! i'm trying not to think about it...thank GOD for Wayne. that's what family is for, right?!
thank you cats for being lame and not killing the bat for me...thank you mom and dad for being gone during BAT SEASON...thank you Megan for being the biggest chicken in the whole world (i could have killed it myself, but instead i srained a muscle in my neck screaming at it...haha, not really) anyway, i'm going to try to sleep now. if i can....DAD...PLEASE COME HOME! the bats are going to be the death of me!!!
go ahead...tell your friends. laugh at my misfortune. i will...later. its quite unfunny right now. BLACH!!!!
