I HAVE TWO MONITORS!!!! AND I LOVE IT!

this is the greatest thing in the world. I hope that in the pictures below you can see the glee depicted in my eyes....this is a big day for me. the day my job becomes fun again!!!! WOOOOOO HOOOOO! I am writing this blog on my primary monitor...the phone rings and my leads are generated by the secondary monitor...(the one on the right). Isn't this cool? it's so cool!

holy hot outside! thank goodness for inside...we turned on the AC today and i think it'll be nice to have that runnin!

i am happy happy that today is saturday and i have nothing to do! woooo. i might try to do some yoga booty ballet in a few minutes. thanks mom for the CDs!!!

tonight i get to go to my friend, Andrea's bachelorette party. it should be a good time. For now, i am just being a bum in my sun dress and BARE (not care) feet. hope you are all doing well!

alright, truth be told, i have lost my mind. Koosh Ball is the only ounce of sanity i have left. he keeps me grounded. he reminds me of simpler times. he lets me throw him around, pull out his hairs and shake him til he's blue in the face. that's a good friend. Kooshy...i love you.

I've been listening to old Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, etc songs lately. It makes me happy to hear this old country music. It is all so simple and easy to listen to. Reminds me of Granny Erickson and Kate. Kate sings these songs at karaoke and Gran like this kinda music...i think. well, even if you don't gran, it reminds me of you anyway!

I'm all caught up at work and it feels good to not have that weighing on my shoulders. Now i can spend my time here at work looking for a new place to live. I think I'm going to see if i can find a nice condo or something close to downtown Mpls that i can rent. My roommate Jenna is putting her beloved house on the market soon. She's run into some tough times, and needs to get rid of it. We're both devastated about it. I don't want to move, but I don't want to own it...I wish i could. i suppose we'll see what i can come up with. uuugh.



Google is so awesome. i love it when i log on in the morning and see that they have some great design in place of their usual logo. Sometimes they are just so awesome, this one is really neat this morning. It reminds me of a sort of asian influences piece of work. I think because the red bird reminds me of a dragon. Even though i think it's supposed to be a Phoenix. Well, whatever it is. I like it.

Also, when was the last time you played with a Koosh ball? I have one at my desk right now. I bought it this weekend so that i'd have something to play with while i sat in boredom at my desk. we used to have these all over the house when i was a little girl. And the more i think about it, the more i am disgusted with the idea of them. They always got lint and hair wrapped around in them and pretty soon it was just time to throw it out. BUT not this one i have. I'll take good care of it. I'm excited. It's really big and has black, teal, pink, and yellow-orange colored rubber tubes in it. and they are just all mixed around together, there is not a color pattern like the kinds you see in the picture. Anyway...enough about it.

work is stressing me out again.

i'm tired and want to go home and go running. i don't agree with all of this mumbo-jumbo i'm having to listen to at work. i just want to go on vacation. i mean, obviously, there are a lot of things i'd rather be doing than working right now. sleeping, eating, sunning myself, walking in the sand (remember...), riding bike, running, playing with Major Briggs, Petting Tyson or Buttons, Grilling food, Putting clothes away, talking on the phone to a friend, traveling, etc. But, in order to do those things, i'll have to terminate my employment. I don't think i want to do that necessarily. I just want....a looooong vacation or something. I really want to go camping. maybe i'll plan a trip with Jenna and Tricia. that sounds fun. we'll make it work on our own. Jenna can build a fire, i can cook..tricia can entertain us with song and dance. hahahaha.

but really. It might be fun. i'll bring it up to them. yay. *sigh* ok. back to work.

i just went out in uptown with my roommate tricia. we had a really good time and saw a lot of people from my work. i am tired now, thought and need to go to sleep so i can get up in time to make it to Gavin's graduation party! Congrats again Gavin! ok....that's all. bed time. night and see you all tomorrow.

i have to say. i love this gum flavor. It just makes me smile when i bite through the hard candy-ish shell and the flavor rushes across my tongue. it fills me with glee! I really enjoy this gum. If it weren't for Hilary, i may never have tried it. Delish!

Anyway...happy payday to all of you out there who can relate to my situation. Today, we celebrate the filling up of our bank accounts and the overflow of joy and rapture as we slowly realize that maybe this month won't be so bad. Congratulations to all of you to are getting paid today. We made it through.

And to you...I hope you feel better. No more food poisoning. (since I am a Doctor, I know this is what is wrong with you.) Have a great weekend...and no more sick!

Day Two:

This is the second day in my attempt to lean down and get into shape. I ran about a mile tonight...and it feels good. i didn't even stop to walk...I'm really tired though. I'm wondering how much longer this spurt of motivation and enthusiasm will last. Since i no longer have a gym membership...who needs to pay for a gym they never go to??...i decided to do a little outside running. when winter comes, i think i'll have to run laps back and forth across the living room. My roommates will have to excuse my constant passing in front of the TV. i can't help the layout of the house! Anyway...imma go get some supper. i'm thinking a small bowl of multi-grain cheerios. who's with me??
