Well....this weekend i changed it up a little. It took little-to no convincing on Kate's part...Just a dab of bleach and BAM! a white streak. What do you think?

Well Friends...today it is hot outside. I wore my hair back in a ponytail...excuse me...a little sprout, because it is shapeless and flat in this silly weather. As you can see below, there is not much to my sprout of hair...but it went back just the same.

Also, i decided that today was going to be a glasses day. I haven't been able to see this clear in weeks. I never wear my glasses anymore. mostly because i forget about them. But today my eyes can celebrate vision! and seeing. and clarity! all good things.

Tonight i am going to go watch So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD)with Kinzie and Meagan! Such a good show. I loooove watching those kids do all those crazy dance moves and things of that sort. I don't think i would be good enough to be on SYTYCD, but it would be awesome to try out and see what they would say. probably some kind of insult. every reality show has to have their three judges...the normal male, the "oh i love you" female, and the cranky, cantankerous, Brittish guy. So cliche. honestly...

It has been soooooo hot in the house lately. We're trying to hold off on the AC for as long as we can, but the humidity is getting a little ridiculous. I wake in the night sweating to death...and that's not really much different than normal, but it isn't a good feeling, that's for sure. Jenna said that maybe tonight we could have the AC...oh i hope so. I don't want to complain...but...I"M TOO WAAAAARM. hehehe...ok. i don't really have much else to write about. of course there are always happy and exciting things going on in my life, but i cannot write about everything you know. it would take forever! surely you understand that....dont you?

I did it. I really did it. I hung up my curtain rods and then...placed my homemade curtains on them. This weekend my beautiful mother and I made these awesome curtains for my bedroom...to keep the intrusive sun out in the morning. Last night I decided that I wanted them up so that they could begin working their magic. I put the brackets on the walls and hung the curtains...as you can see below. They are beautiful and they work WONDERFULLY! i woke to darkness this morning and felt so proud to have done it all by myself. (well not the curtain part..Mom helped on that one!) Anyway, take a look below. Aren't they cool?

MEET BUTTONS.

Buttons is a kitten that came all the way from the Bowar Household in South Dakota. Sadly, in order for her to stay with us, we will be strongly considering a new home for Nina. She is a long haired kitty that we have who is very needy. She requires a lot of attention and affection, but when isn't given what she feels to be enough, (she's jealous of her brother, Tyson) She goes Potty (both kinds) on the carpet, chairs, Jenna's Sink....she's being naughty and we don't know why. So, we're looking for a new home for her. Is anyone interested? She's a very good kitty...she's just acting up in our house. too many changes for her.

Anyway, here she is...4 months old and cute as a...well, Button! Meet Buttons Bowrickman! :)

Well...the weather is ick. BUT, i have a new roommate. her name is Amanda and she was a friend of mine back in college. She moved to the big city and now lives with Jenna and me. It is strange having another person in the house. it still kind of feels like she's just visiting, but we'll fall into a groove and everything will be fine.

Today i am chewing bubble gum. see?

I also sliced my thumb open on my yogurt container. That tinfoil lid is sharp!

and well...in general i'm keeping the mood light. It's a happy day despite the poor weather.

in other news. Gran and Gramps E had their 50th! Way to go gran and gramps! I'm proud of you and i love you both very much! I had a blast at your party and I can't wait for the 75th! :D I've been riding the bus to work every morning with Jenna and things are going pretty well. There is a guy that is pretty good looking that sat next to me yesterday...maybe a romance will blossom. hahaha..."oh, we met on the bus and the rest is history!" hahaha...

well, i'm going to finish eating my banana chips and get to work...err...look for some work to do. BYE!
