Welp. Another week has begun. I finished my first Theatre camp of the summer on Saturday. the show turned out alright! I had a great time working with the kids and the other "teachers" and the like. I just really struggled with the stress load. made it through alright.
This week its just school and down time. I have my first news story this week. I have to go to a lame city council meeting on Wednesday to get the facts and then write the story. laaaaaaame. i've been really really busy and therefore sleep deprived, but this last weekend i spelt soooo much. it was wonderful!
Today i went to visit gran. She is doing really well and i'm proud of her for all that she has accomplished. way to go gran!
And for those of you who think my site is lame...i think you're lame and you can go take a bite! you know who you are.
I really don't have much else to say. so i guess until next time.

Well, i'm sorry for the long wait on an update. I have been crazy busy with STI (theatr camp), school, and working at Barnes and Noble. I'm looking forward to this weekend because STI will be done, (though i am sad now, i had a good time. There are still two more camps for me to work...so i'm looking forward to that starting mid July) and i only work on Sunday! HOW LUCKY FOR ME!
I've haven't much to write as i haven't done much outside of school and work. This last session of STI was a challange for me. I had to work with high school aged students. They are tough to work with because all of the sudden there is that insecurity about them and they feel stupid doing the dancing and the singing. And for a choreographer, that's frustrating! But after two weeks they have grow leaps and bounds! Its nice to see them do something that they worked so hard for. Yay.
I've met some new people and made some new friends. Life is good. Life is interesting. I'm stressed and very very busy, but i'm in control and i like that. Its a good challange for me. balancing act!
so, on that note. I'm running on very VERY little sleep, i took a two and a half hour nap this afternoon, and now i'm going to go to bed. I hope to be in bed by 9. we;ll see! sorry for the delayed update, but like i said. been keeping busy! Enjoy each day for the beauty it brings!
PS..thanks Nan for coming to stay the night on Wednesday. it was so good to see you and play Boo again. I love you! You are my sister! HUGS AND KISSES. hehe!

Well week two done. I'm keeping plently busy with school, sti, barnes and noble, and trying to have a social life. i think i have a good balance..its not perfect, but i get a little of everything. i studied tonight and then went to meet a friend for coffee in rochester. it was a randomly planned meeting, but it worked. we never got coffee, but we found a place to sit and just talked. it was nice. Not someone i know extremely well, but it's good to get to know new people and i'm learning more every day!! Theatre camp is going well. i enjoy it every day. barnes and noble is NO FUN...well its kinda fun, but not tooooo fun. blah...i don't do anything, ever, so i don't have much to report. Just know that i am well and i have two tests this week. Monday and Tuesday. Tueaday's test is the first lab test! yikes! hope it goes well. anyway..bed time.

zzzzzzzz....in my dreams. oh, what a pun!
looong day. let's just remember that tomorrow we can try again.
Sometimes courage isn't always the big roar we'd hoped it would be...sometimes it is simply that small voice at the end of the day that whispers "i will try again tomorrow."--unknown
i will try again tomorrow

Well Kids,
i know it's been a long time, but honestly. I am jugging School, Barnes and Noble, STI Theatre camps, AND starting Tuesday i will be working at the DCI...the newspaper in town. So...if you have a problem with my lack of blogs....well i'm sorry. I'll so my best. This girl has to fit in trips to the chiropractor, visits with Grandma and Grandpa, as well as some social time. its a busy life for me!
Last night i got to go out with some friends from work and i had a blast! It was so nice to go and see people. I saw some kids that i knew from around Rochester, some SMU kids...a guy i met while in London. WEIRD HUH?! But yeah...i had a good time. Today i have been choreographing for STI...this camp session is working with kids who are only like 4 or 5 years younger than me. I'm nervous to work with older kids. I have to up the difficulty with them...just a little. But i just don't know what to do. Ugh. AND being that i'm not working with Timmy on this session, it makes me more nervous because i don't know if they will like what i'm doing with the pieces. I know timmy always likes what i do. And that helps, but i'm nevous that this dude won't...specially since Daved, the director of the Program, talked me up to him so much. ugh. Pressure!

Anyway..here's a pic of how i'm looking these days. many of you don't get to see me much anymore, so here is how i look. I seem well. hehehe...anyway. Back to it. Just thought i pop in and let you know a little about me and what's going on! A LOT! I'm takin mom on a date tonight. I should be getting ready soon. But not yet, no, not yet. Ok...ciao!

aparently...in order to get the lawn chairs down from the rafters it takes a great deal of sweat blood and tears...with a large helping of swearing and unnecessary yelling.
Mom and i tried to get the lawn chairs down today so that we could lay out on them, and boy let me tell you. They were laying in the rafters, a bit obstructed...stacked on top of one another making it difficult to liberate them from the sauna/rafters. So mom is up there trying to disconnect them, and they are stuck together...both of us are sweating from the extreme temps, and suddenly the top chair comes crashing down on my left wrist. I say nothing but grit my teeth and hold back the tears...no use...i cry. lame i know. i couldn't help it, it felt like every bone in my wrist had been crushed. with the tears over...mom begins getting very angry because she can't get the chairs down. they are the loooooong lounge chairs, and with the angles od the boards in the rafters it made it near impossible to move the chair in any direction that would allow for their release. Finally after about 5 minutes of yells and screams of frustration from the elder...i decided i will go up there and see the mess father has put us into, and the damage that has been done by mother...So mom and i trade spots and like a true norweigan..i see the easiest way to get the chairs down. In a matter of a minute i had the first chair on its way down the ladder. Two minutes later the second chair was safely on the ground. Ahhhh....no problem! Piece of cake!
sorry you had to suffer mom, but you just need to be a little more norwegian in situations like this. it's the best way!
what a deal...pictures to come later.
oh and a shout-out to Gran. I'm thinking of you and Praying for a safe procedure! LOVE YOU!
