By the way..here is my real thanksgiving dinner...i had it the day after thanksgiving, but it was AWESOME! (Marinated Chicken breast, garlic potatos, broccoli and carrots, AAAAAAND MILK!) (and then to be really honest..this is the meal i had two days after thanksgiving because i lost the picture i had of my other meal..so replace the garlic noodles with potatos and you have my T-day!)

i know, i know...to all of you who are going to actually do the math, it is about 5am here. I just finished a paper that was MAYBE due tomorrow. it was supposed to be, but we don't know if our teacher will be feeling well enough to meet for class. he called today to say he wasn't well...so he might switch class back to Thursday, which means i won't be able to be there for class, alass i'm not too worried about it! Ok..here is a poem that i really liked. It's by Carol Ann Duffy. I like it!

STEALING

the most unusual thing i ever stole? A snowman.
Midnight. He looked magnificent; a tall, white mute
beneath the winter moon. I wanted him, a mate
with a mind as cold as the slice of ice
within my own brain. I started with the head.

Better off dead than giving in, not taking
what you want. He weighed a ton; his torso,
frozen stiff, hugged to my chest, a fierce chill
piercing my gut. Part of the thrill was knowing
that children would cry in the morning. Life's tough.

Sometimes I steal things I don't need. I joy-ride cars
to nowhere, break into houses just to have a look.
I'm a mucky ghost, leave a mess, maybe pinch a camera.
I watch my gloved hand twisting the doorknob.
A stranger's bedroom. Mirrors. I sigh like this - Aah.

It took some time. Reassembled in the yard,
he didn't look the same. I took a run
and booted him. Again. Again. My breath ripped out
in rags. It seems daft now. Then i was standing
alone amongst lumps of snow, sick of the world.

Boredom. Mostly i'mm so bored i could eat myself.
One time, I stole a guitar and thought i might
learn to play. I nicked a bust of shakespeare once,
flogged it, but the snowman was the strangest.
You don't understand a word i'm saying, do you?

i'm going to play hide and seek with myself.

i hide.

and when i'm good and ready i'll come looking for myself.

not a minute sooner.

Hi Folks...

Well, i leave London on the 1st of December, which happens to be Thursday...i will be going to Dublin for two weeks then coming back here to London on the 17th of Dec. I will meet up with Jamey on the 18th and he will have Aaron and Jesse with him! I can't wait til my boys get here! Anyway, i'm having real mixed emotions about leaving this country. I feel like after living here for 3 months or so, i belong here...so it's really hard for me to imagine going home and living a life of monotony again. no offense to my mother and father, i love them, but i don't want to come home and life at SMU and do the same old things every day and then come home in the summer and work work work. I want something new...something big. I can feel it in my bones...I'm made to break free! I think i'm gonna do it!

Happy Thanksgiving...here's the meal i had last night...POTATOS! tonight i think i'm going to go to the grocery store and get either some chicken or turkey for dinner and have turkey/chicken and potatos as a belated thanksgiving dinner. I deserve that at least! And if i get chicken i have a real yummy marinade here that i think i will finally use! yessss! Anyway, here's some pics for you! Enjoy! Missed you all!

Look, now i know we are all stressed out, but there is no reason to take agressions out on one another, especially when the person you are taking your aggressions out on is the one making sure you're ok. Not acceptable.

Anyway, I just got my flight to Ireland booked as well as a hostel for me to stay in for 2 days! I'm pretty proud of myself, and i didn't snap at anyone, nor did i take out any aggressions...seeeeeee..people can be civil. I'm sorry you had such an awful time, but DO NOT take it out on me! That's all i have to say. I refuse to be of help to you from now on. The end. Enjoy your stay!
